laptop -- you can use our Virtual Terminal Credit Card
slips.
Add Your Business Information. If you order
blank slips (without custom imprinting), be sure to add
your business information to the upper left-hand corner
of the form. You can do this with a rubber stamp or an
address label. For a more professional-looking
alternative and for your convenience, we can print your
slips with your information and/or your logo.
Number Your Forms. To uniquely identify
payments made by the same customer on the same date for
the same item(s), number your forms. You can choose any
numbering system that works best for your bookkeeping
system.
Fill Out the Form. Make sure that you (or your
customer) fills out the form completely. You'll need all
the data to process the transaction once you are back at
your computer. This is especially important if the
customer's card is not accepted. The Virtual Terminal
Credit Card Slips have the customers contact information
so that you can communicate regarding any problems with
the transaction or about future follow-ups or offers. If
the customer fills out the form, be sure to compare the
data with the actual credit card and photo ID to make
sure it is accurate and legitimate.
Process the Transaction. When you have access
to your computer and the Internet, input the information
you gathered on the Virtual Terminal Credit Card Slips
into your Virtual Terminal.
